Stock Gifts

Making a stock gift to the Georgia Conservancy is easy. Our two methods of making stock gifts are detailed below.

Preferred Method:

Contact Charles Schwab and Co. at 800-435-9050 and make them aware of your stock transfer.

Have your broker process the transfer in this manner:

Use DTC #0164, Code 40

For further credit to the Georgia Conservancy's account # 6744-0136

VERY IMPORTANT: Contact Georgia Conservancy President Katherine Moore at 404-876-2900 ext. 100 or at kmoore@gaconservancy.org. You may also write us* at the address below to alert us of the gift. We will acknowledge your gift by mail once the transfer has been made.
