Support Georgia Conservation
This Is Your Georgia
Support the Georgia Conservancy’s mission with a donation
our impact
You deserve to be heard—and to know your support is making a difference.
Throughout our 57-year history, we have relied upon individual donors for support. It is thanks to this support that we have accomplished goals such as protecting:
sweetwater creek state park
the okefenokee swamp wilderness area
cumberland island national seashore, and
thousands of acres of private forests, fields and wetlands
— efforts that have helped to shape the Georgia that we know today. Your support allows us to continue to act, educate and advocate on behalf of our state’s natural resources and communities. Georgia Conservancy sees the potential each gift holds and pledges to use it wisely to continue moving Georgia forward.

Matching Gifts
Have you donated to the Georgia Conservancy? Thinking about making a donation? You may be able to double the impact of your donation(s) to the Georgia Conservancy through the generosity of your employer. Many companies will match all or a portion of employee donations. Gifts from employees’ spouses and retirees may also qualify for a match.
Search below to find out if our employer has a matching gift program. Simply type your company name into the search below to find out if they will match your gift to the Georgia Conservancy. After discovering whether or not your company will match your gift, you can:

We now accept donations of Ethereum, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies! This gives you one more way to fund our work and can provide you with extra tax benefits.
If you are 70.5 or older, giving from your IRA can help reduce your taxable income — and for those over 73 who must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an IRA gift is a simple way to fulfill it! By using the link below to give from your IRA, you can auto-complete your paperwork and we can track your gift to send you the proper tax receipts.
Donating stocks allows you to avoid capital gains tax and often take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset. Use this tool to donate stock so we can track your gift, send you the correct receipt, and ensure you can get the tax savings you deserve. If you would prefer to make your donation through your broker, access our transfer information from the link above to notify Georgia Conservancy of your gift.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations today. This tool automatically links with your DAF, allows you to recommend how you’d like your gift to be used and notifies Georgia Conservancy of your intentions. Using the link below to grant from your DAF also saves us a lot of time, so thank you! It’s a great way to ensure consistent financial support for our conservation efforts while saving cash for immediate needs.
Whether you’re 18 or 108, everyone should have a will in place. People use wills to choose who gets their property. Through a will, many people also choose to leave part of their estate to Georgia Conservancy and make an impact on the causes they love, for years to come.
