Georgia Conservancy is excited to announce the appointment of Bill McHugh to the Board of Trustees.
Bill McHugh is Vice President & General Counsel at the Sea Island Company, where he oversees legal operations for the historic and internationally renowned Sea Island resort. Bill began his career in the military as an Infantry Officer and eventually became a U.S. Army JAG Corps Attorney. Following his military career, he transitioned into private practice as a lawyer. He brings prior experience as Assistant General Counsel at Rayonier and its affiliate, RYAM, where he served as Assistant General Counsel for nearly seven years. He earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. At Sea Island Company, he blends his legal background with his business development mindset to ensure the resort’s success.
