Georgia Conservancy is excited to announce the appointment of Peter Starr to the Board of Trustees.
Peter Starr is a Partner in the Atlanta office of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s Trial and Global Disputes group. He brings extensive experience representing major organizations in high-stakes legal matters and advising clients across a wide range of industries. His work reflects a strong focus on strategic problem-solving, risk management, and thoughtful advocacy.
Peter began his legal career clerking for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit before practicing at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York. He later returned to Atlanta to join King & Spalding, where he has continued to build a respected practice. He earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, and holds a B.A. from Birmingham-Southern College, summa cum laude.
