2023 Sapelo Island Service Weekend

Another successful Sapelo Island Service Weekend! This year, our annual service weekend saw us helping out Sapelo Island's Hogg Hummock community's agricultural output with a morning of weeding and harvesting of mint. Participants also provided support to the UGA Marine Sciences Institute (UGAMI) with much-needed painting, bike maintenance, and sign restoration projects. Additional weekend support came from the community volunteer team from Bank of America, who led a Sunday morning sunrise beach sweep!
